Elan Donates 10 Pairs of Skis to Primary Schools: Encouraging Activity and Time Spent in Nature

At Elan, we are delighted to announce that every winter, for more than 10 years, we have been donating 10 pairs of skis to Slovenian primary schools. The project of donating children’s skis is closely connected to our mission, as we believe that everyone deserves an excellent skiing experience.

There is nothing more wonderful than spending days on the snow in the company of friends and family! With this initiative, we aim to support children and young people in engaging in sports and encourage them to spend time outdoors, surrounded by nature. We believe that being active in their free time is essential for healthy development and the well-being of the youngest members of our community.

We are proud supporters of the Šolar na smuči (Schoolkid on Skis) initiative, organized by the Ski Association of Slovenia in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The initiative strives to create a healthier and more active world for young people. We supported the project earlier this year with a donation of skis, but we have decided to additionally donate skis directly to schools, allowing even more children to experience the magic of skiing, make their first turns, and fall in love with this exceptional sport.

We invite you to register your school for the call for applications to receive a donation of ten pairs of skis with bindings. Together, we can create unforgettable skiing adventures and allow children to enjoy the magic of winter sports.

To apply, please fill out the attached form and return it by 5 January 2026 to lara.sarabon@elan.si.

The final recipient will be selected by a committee by 12 January 2026, based on the following criteria:

number of ski activity days within the school year; number of ski days included in school outdoor programs; participation in the Šolar na smuči project; content of the motivation letter.
